The American Numismatic Association holds its educational Summer Seminar for two weeks every June in Colorado Springs.  Many of you have attended and/or taught a class at Summer Seminar and know that it’s an excellent way to learn about a variety of numismatic topics, as well as to meet other enthusiastic members of our hobby.  I’ve attended for the last 3 years and the experience has greatly expanded my numismatic knowledge and friendships.

During each week of Summer Seminar, the Young Numismatists (YNs) organize and conduct a numismatic auction.  It’s a great learning experience for us and the proceeds directly benefit the YN Scholarship Fund, which helps dozens of Young Numismatists attend Summer Seminar every year.  This summer, I will be serving as the Week 1 Auction Head and one of my responsibilities is to assist in collecting items for these auctions.

If you would like to help promote the hobby for the next generation, please consider donating a numismatic item for the 2019 Summer Seminar auctions. Numismatic items can include coins, paper money, tokens, medals, etc.  Linked below is a donation form for your convenience.

Please send the completed form and donation(s) to the American Numismatic Association at the following address:

American Numismatic Association
Summer Seminar YN Auction
818 North Cascade Avenue
Colorado Springs, CO, 80903-3279

Thank you very much for your consideration. Also, thanks again to the JRCS members who generously donated numismatic items at the recent Baltimore Whitman show!

Great kudos and thanks to the anonymous collector who shared the montage of 1817/4 Bust Half Dollars.

Great assemblage. Fine photos. Killer-diller specimens.
