JR Newsletter: Special Edition 15 May 2024 (629)

The JRCS zoom meeting scheduled for Wednesday May 22 at 7PM EDT will feature a presentation by Brad Karoleff on the Spanish Colonial silver issued by the Mexico City and Potosi mints.  These coins, as you may already know, were legal tender in the US circulating side by side with our beloved Bust Halves until 1857.

Join the meeting to learn something about these interesting coins that helped fuel the American economy in the early to mid 19th century.

Please contact Steve Herrman at herrman102(at)aol.com to receive a zoom invitation to join the meeting on Wednesday.

The next JRCS Zoom meeting is scheduled for Wednesday evening May 22nd at 7PM EDT. We are still looking for a speaker for the meeting. Will someone consider volunteering to give a short program?  Please let me know at bkaroleff(at)yahoo.com if you can help.

Remember we also need submissions for the next issue of the print journal. Please send me something for inclusion in the next issue.

Thanks

Brad
